These are exciting and dynamic times in the world of education. Students and parents can now choose among a variety of educational programs. Unlike a traditional school, SPA high school students work at vastly different levels in the same classroom. Computers track a range of aptitude levels, allowing teachers to tailor their teaching to their students' weakest areas. The high tech infrastucture bolsters many of the school's core goals-individualized instruction, small class sizes, and close relationships with teachers and peers.
SPA offers a complete high school curriculum to meet graduation requirements in math, science, English, social studies, and foreign languages. Because students come to high school at varying levels of readiness, we have implemented a digital curriculum with multiple pathways. We believe our 'blended learning' high school program is 'the best of both worlds,' combining the greatest elements of online and face-to-face learning.
Students find the courses with the extra help to catch up or the Honors courses that provide the extra challenges. Advanced Placement (AP) classes are available, and we encourage students to challenge themselves to achieve as much as they can. SPA High School is there, nurturing and guiding students through the complexitites of both academic and social development.
