4.  Journalism and Media

 

Students will learn the basics of digital photography, print layout, and advertising. A digital camera will be required to participate. Students will take pictures of school events and write short stories about the fun activities. Students are given a taste of working on a project where accuracy, truth, objectivity and time constraints all come together.  A professional photographer will mentor the students on such features as framing and composition.
