Performance Learning Academy is focused on providing the student with the necessary preparation for school success. We follow a path that has been developed by Dr. Mel Levine, a developmental pediatrician, and his colleagues at the University of North Carolina. It provides us with a comprehensive framework for understanding how kids learn.
The program is staffed with certified teachers and individuals who have specialized preparation for teaching children. It provides for small group sizes and appropriate teacher to student relations which promote optimal development. The program establishes close ties between families and ensures that all of the student's needs are met by helping families gain access. if needed, to comprehensive services such as Vision Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Therapy.
